Drainage System of India

 

The Himalayan drainage system includes the Ganga, Indus and Brahmaputra rivers. The peninsular plain is occupied by Narmada, Tapi, Mahanadi, Godavari, Krishna and Kaveri. Ninety percent of India's total water is pumped into the Bay of Bengal and resting in the Arabian Sea. Drainage systems flowing in the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal are divided by stretching waters around the Western Ghats, Aravallis and Yamuna Sutlej. The Indian drainage system contains a large number of small and large rivers. It is the result of the evolutionary process of three major phonograph units as well as the nature and characteristics of rainfall.

• CUTTING PROGRAM

Surface drainage systems remove surface water through tunnels or canals. In some cases, the bottom area is shaped or aligned to create a slope toward the stations. • SUBSURFACE DRAINAGE SYSTEM

Underground drainage systems are used under the surface layer. Sometimes called the French drain, they work at the root level to remove excess water. • SLOP PLAYING SYSTEM

Drainage systems are built to allow water to flow from the building to the downside. It is done with the help of sloping pipes. Since the installed pipe is tied to a slope, it directs the water to the pipe to remove it quickly from the building.
